Tuesday 22 December 2015

Good morning sweet peeps and welcome to the very last Papertake challenge.

It’s a very sad day for me because this has been part of my life for so many years and although my head says it’s time to go, my heart isn't quite there yet.

But life has been so hectic for me these last few months and it was getting to the point where I was meeting myself coming back and I felt that I wasn't doing anything properly. Nothing seemed to be 100% which isn’t fair, so something had to give. Some of you will know that it’s also been a bit of a trying time for us with Richard’s mum and that has taken its toll as well.

Not only that, I felt that now was the right time and hope that you understand.

Before we get to today's post there are some people I really do need to thank so please bear with me for a minute or so.

First thanks go to Steph Mayne, who started this all off.

She asked me to join the team wayy back then and then when she had to step down, I took it over.

So thank you hunny for the chance you gave me  xxx

Secondly, I have to thank each and every one of our wonderful sponsors, past and present,  and some of them have been with us for such a long time.

It goes without saying that they have played a huge part in the success of our challenge.

We could not have done this without you and I have really appreciated your sponsorship, generosity and support xxx

And of course to every single person who has ever entered the challenge, hugest thanks to you too.

Without you there would be no point in any of this and I know once again that some of you have been playing along with us for years xxx

Finally a massive thank you to the wonderful girls on this team, again both past and present.

We have always had a strong DT and the current one is no exception. Not only are they super talented but they are the nicest girls  ever and some have been on here with me for absolute years.

They never fail to produce fantastic  work, week in week out – so inspirational.

I don’t have enough words to say how much they all mean to me and we are and will always remain friends xxx

So for the last time I will say a huge thank you to everybody who joined us last week - your cards and projects were fabulous.

And who is our winner?
Woohooo Lisa Lynn  this week it’s you chick :)

Well done to you and if you e-mail me, I’ll pass your details onto Mary and hugest thanks to The Ribbon Girl for sponsoring us xx

And check out what Lisa Lynn  did -

OK, onto this week and it’s time for another

Take Your Pick

In case you aren't familiar with how it works,  the last challenge of every month has several themes and you simply take your pick from them.
There’s a sketch, a colour theme, a product theme and a technique theme to choose from.

You can use any theme and if you want to, you can combine two or more.

So  here are this month’s  themes  -

Colour theme

Red and/or green

Technique Theme

Glitter it up

Product Theme

Anything 'bauble' shaped.
It could be a die, mdf, and image or stamp -  anything you want.

Sketch

Sketch #107

sketch #107

But don’t forget as always,  if you would prefer to use another sketch, then please feel free to use any Papertake Weekly sketch you fancy,
and just add the number of the sketch you’ve chosen when you post the link back to us :)

To make life a bit easier, we now have a sketches page at the top here so there are a fair old few to choose from.
Hopefully this will save you having to go back through the archives to find one that you like :)

As always, please feel free to resize, flip and rotate the elements - as long as you can still see the sketch, it’s completely fine so fill yer boots!!!

So all you have to do is simply  Take You Pick!!
I hope that this all makes sense but please feel free to email either myself or any of the PTW girls if you have any queries or questions.

As it’s the last challenge of the month, we are sponsored by those fabulous people across the pond.
